Peter Tchaikovsky's Symphony no. 5 in e-minor is one of the greatest masterpieces of musical literature. It entered the world repertoire and is one of the composer's most popular pieces today. It represents the “autobiographical” type of symphony which purely expresses the author's personal feelings and experiences with the use of musical methods. Listening to this four-part symphony one can marvel at the performative Kunst of the orchestra and the beauty of the masterpiece filled with expression. The album was recorded in 1996.
