Małgorzata Podzielny – the Artistic Director of the Wrocław Philharmonic Boys’ Choir
A graduate of the Music Education Department in the conducting class under professor Maria Oraczewska-Skorek, as well as of the Composition, Conducting, Music Theory and Music Therapy Department – the Music Theory section at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław (first class honours), and also of the Postgraduate Studies for Choirmasters in Bydgoszcz (first class honours); a grant holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Since September 2002 she has been conducting the ‘Con Brio’ Choir, String Orchestra and chamber ensembles at the Grażyna Bacewicz Primary Music School in Wrocław, she is also the artistic director of the Vocal Ensemble ‘Rondo’ in Wrocław. Her students take part and receive many prizes at local, national and international competitions and festivals.
For four years she has been the deputy director of the Sacred Music School at the Theology Department of Opole University and a lecturer at the Music Education Department of Wrocław Music Academy. She has received several awards for the best conductor of choral contests.
She is a guest lecturer at workshops and seminars on the issue of voice emission in a boys’ choir.
