Crowds at Pergola – Saturday’s concert proves a huge success
Over 15,000 inhabitants of Wrocław and Lower Silesia greatly enjoyed the massive open-air performance of the Wratislavia Cantans Festival. The ear-catching repertoire selected by Paul McCreesh, combined with an energetic rendition of the musicians definitely challenged the common preconceptions about classical music, and left the audience amazed by compositions of Verdi, Rossini or Moniuszko.
